The story of Caffe Torelli by Marco Costa starts in Parma, the gastronomic capital of Italy, with the Costa family. When they migrated to England in the 1960’s, the family brought their miscela (blend) with them, going on to found a coffee empire now known throughout the world. Marco Costa, (the son of co-founder Sergio), is a successful entrepreneur and restauranteur in his own right. Understandably, coffee is in his blood, and Marco is dedicated to conserving the original family miscela, (Perla Bianca), which he uses in his own restaurants and has sold to a select group of foodservice customers. As demand for Perla Bianca increased, Marco searched for a roastery which could deliver the quality, quantity and consistency he required to meet demand whilst staying true to the heritage of the original blend. Caffe Torelli by Marco Costa is now produced in a state of the art, carbon-neutral UK facility.
Marco told us: ‘I am delighted that Caffe Torelli by Marco Costa will now be more widely available. It is very exciting to be able to offer a true Italian Heritage Blend, whilst minimising environmental impact by reducing Food Miles and Carbon Emissions’.
Caffe Torelli by Marco Costa is available in three different blends:
Perla Bianca: The original Costa family blend, with its classic Italian flavour profile, which kickstarted a coffee story now known throughout the whole world.
Perla Antica: Certified Organic and Fair Trade, this gorgeous chocolatey blend was developed to reflect Marco Costa’s commitment to the environment.
Decaffeinated: A high quality Italian roast blend, gently decaffeinated using the Swiss Water method.
Perla Beans are available packed in high quality, sturdy cases of 6x1kg.
A selection of beans and ground products are available in beautifully crafted resealable tins, packed in cases of 6x250g.

With a whole new floor at the Truman Brewery to explore, the whole place was buzzing with start-ups, industry pioneers and well established favourites. There were tasting rooms, keynote coffee industry speakers, debates, Latte art and competitions to discover and enjoy throughout the busy 3 day event. 2018 has begun with a fantastic new outlook for all the team at UK Business Supplies. We are excited to announce that we have now moved to a brand new office and warehouse facility in Huyton Business Park, Liverpool. Our business has been growing substantially over the last few years and our old office and warehouse on Upper Parliament Street in Liverpool served us well, but due to recent expansion and an increase in orders it became evident that it was time to move to a bigger premises in a more ideal location.
Our new offices and warehouse are in a prime location at Huyton Business Park, now we are much better suited transport wise, we are based 2 minutes from the M62 and M57, making deliveries and pick-ups much more effective due to the excellent transport links nearby. The new warehouse is much more spacious and deliveries are much easier to manage now with the new increased capacity car park and designated loading bay. We are currently expanding our lines and we can now hold additional stock on our best sellers.
